MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.3 earthquake shook Zamboanga del Norte on Thursday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
In its updated bulletin posted on Thursday afternoon, Phivolcs said the quake hit 32 kilometers southwest of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte, at 10:20 a.m.
It was recorded at Intensity IV in the municipalities of Siocon, Kalawit and Baliguianl, Intensity III in Labason and Zamboanga City, Intensity II in Liloy and Intensity I in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Phivolcs said so damage to infrastructure and aftershocks are expected.
