MANILA, Philippines—Navy and Coast Guard personnel found late Friday morning some of the 26 fishermen reported missing off the waters of Pangasinan at the height of Tropical Storm “Dodong.”

Benito Ramos, executive director of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, said Coast Guard helicopter pilots scouring the area spotted fishermen afloat in waters off the municipality of Anda.

He said their vessel had apparently sunk.
