MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation’s forensic medicine team is now working in coordination with the Makati Police’s Scene of the Crime Office (SOCO) in determining the cause of death of flight attendant Christine Dacera.

“The NBI forensic medicine team is presently providing assistance to and coordinating with the PNP Makati SOCO to determine the true cause of death of Christine Dacera,” Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said.

Dacera, 23, was found unconscious in a bathtub in a hotel in Makati City where she celebrated New Year’s Eve with friends. She was later taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The police have already filed a provisional complaint of rape with homicide against 11 suspects pending autopsy findings and toxicology report.
