MANILA, Philippines — The city government of Pasig on Sunday officially opened its business one-stop shop at the Ayala Malls in a bid to lessen foot traffic in City Hall once the peak season for permit renewal begins this year.
Mayor Vico Sotto vowed that businessmen would no longer have to visit City Hall 20 times as in the past but only twice at the most.
Sotto said around 20 to 30 percent of the city’s budget came from revenues from 9,575 businesses located in Barangays San Antonio and Ugong.
