MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.7 earthquake rattled Surigao del Norte on Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The earthquake struck at 1:29 p.m. at 22 kilometers southeast of General Luna town.
The tremor was of tectonic origin and had a 20-kilometer depth of focus.
Phivolcs said the tremor was also felt at Instrumental Intensity I in Surigao City.
No aftershocks or damage are expected from the earthquake, Phivolcs added.
