CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY—A 3.2-magnitude quake rocked Tubod town, Lanao del Norte province late on Wednesday (Dec. 30).
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the tremor struck around 8:11 p.m. some 9 kilometers northeast of Tubod town, the provincial capital.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, had a depth of 1 kilometer.
Several residents said the shaking was strong although it lasted for just a few seconds. The tremor was felt in the nearby town of Baroy.
There was no reported damage, so far.
