NLEX, SLEX, other tollways waive toll fees on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day
MANILA, Philippines — Expressways including the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) will waive toll fees in certain hours during New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
In a post on SLEX’s Twitter account on Sunday, the San Miguel Corp. announced that it will waive fees in its tollways from 10 p.m. Dec. 31 to 6 a.m. Jan. 1.
SMC operates the following tollways:
-Skyway
-NAIA Expressway

In an earlier post, the NLEX Corporation also said it will waive toll fees during the same period in the following tollways:
-NLEX
-Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX)
-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX)
-Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX)

Both toll road operators previously waived toll fees during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
