CABANATUAN CITY — Two motorcycle riders died in separate vehicular accidents in Nueva Ecija on Christmas Day, police said on Saturday.

Emmanuel Santiago, 27, a beautician, was driving a motorcycle when he crashed into the concrete wall of a welcome arch in Bongabon town at about 4:20 a.m. on Friday, said Col. Marvin Joe Saro, Nueva Ecija police director.

Meanwhile, at 5:50 p.m., the motorcycle driven by 27-year-old Nampicuan town farmer Mark Arvie Munda collided with a van that was parked along the shoulder of a road leading to Cuyapo town.

Both motorists were rushed to hospitals near the accident sites but were declared dead on arrival.
