WATCH: Magnitude 6.3 quake also felt in Quezon City
MANILA, Philippines – The magnitude 6.3 earthquake that hit parts of the country on Christmas morning Friday was also felt in Quezon City.
In a video shared by Timothy Bautista on Twitter, a hanging lamp in his home in Barangay Roxas, Quezon City can be seen swinging during the earthquake, which was also felt in several other cities and provinces in the country.

In an initial bulletin, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the epicenter of the quake was located 11 kilometers southwest of Calatagan, Batangas.
Phivolcs earlier reported that the quake’s epicenter was at 10 kilometers northwest of Calatagan, Batangas.
Aside from Quezon City, strong tremors were also felt in the areas of Mandaluyong, Makati, San Juan in Metro Manila, and Rizal, Cavite ang Occidental Mindoro.
The quake, which is of tectonic origin, has a depth of 102 kilometers. State seismologists earlier said the depth of the quake was at 74 kilometers.
