Coding scheme in Makati suspended during holidays
MANILA, Philippines — The Makati City government on Tuesday announced that its modified number coding scheme is suspended during the holidays, including Christmas and New Year.
Makati suspended number coding scheme on the following days:
- December 24 (Christmas Eve)
- December 25 (Christmas Day)
- December 30 (Rizal Day)
- December 31 (New Year’s Eve) and,
- January 1 (New Year’s Day)
Vehicles with two or more people remain exempted from the number coding scheme, and will not be apprehended during coding, the city government said.
