MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression Vicky has made landfall in the municipality of Baganga in Davao Oriental on Friday afternoon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.

In an interview over dzBB, Pagasa weather forecaster Jun Galang said Vicky made landfall at around 2 p.m.

(We are expecting that after its landfall, Vicky may cross Mindanao and will reemerge in Bohol Sea tomorrow morning.)

(It may also pass close Siquijor and also the southern portion of Negros Island, likewise in Sulu sea tomorrow afternoon.)

Over 30 areas are currently under Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal 1 where 30-60 km/h winds are expected to prevail.
