Education supervisor shot dead in Sultan Kudarat province

COTABATO CITY –– Police authorities have launched a manhunt against motorcycle-riding gunmen, who shot dead a school district supervisor of the Department of Education (DepEd), in Sultan Kudarat province Wednesday morning, Dec. 16.

The shooting occurred around 9:30 a.m. along the national highway in Barangay Poblacion of President Quirino town.


In a report submitted by President Quirino municipal police office to Sultan Kudarat police director Colonel Noel U Kinazo, the victim was identified as Abdul Khader Sultan, a resident of Barangay Poblacion.

Sultan was aboard his vehicle when the attack happened. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the head and body.


Police recovered empty shells of cal. 45 pistol at the crime scene.

Kinazo said apart from identifying the suspects, investigators are also determining the motive of the attack.
