MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake rocked Davao Occidental on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The earthquake struck at 10:30 a.m., 224 kilometers east of the municipality of Sarangani.
The quake was of tectonic origin and had a 92-kilometer depth of focus.
Phivolcs said no aftershocks or damage to infrastructure are expected.
