‘Daming beses ka na namura’: Duterte not happy with Leachon’s criticisms — Palace
MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte is not fond of the criticisms of Dr. Anthony Leachon, who is a former adviser of the National Task Force against COVID-19 (NTF), Malacañang said Monday.
According to presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, Leachon has been repeatedly cursed by Duterte in his speeches but were only edited out in aired videos.
Roque said this after Leachon questioned the government’s decision to supposedly prioritize coronavirus vaccines from firms that have yet to produce enough efficacy and safety data.
“Na-edit lang po sa mga talk to the people pero ang daming beses na po kayong namura ng Presidente. Kasi ang sabi niya, kung anu-ano sinasabi mo iyon pala nagnanais ka lang ng posisyon sa gobyerno,” Roque said.

NTF chief implementer and vaccine czar Carlito Galvez, Jr., who hired Leachon months ago, bared that it was hard to work with the doctor.
“Sa NTF nagsama po kami, mahirap po siyang kasama. May sariling mundo,” Galvez said.
