MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is expected in most parts of the country on Saturday, the state weather bureau said.
In its 5 a.m. weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the northeast monsoon or “amihan” continues to affect weather conditions in extreme Northern Luzon.
Meanwhile, the easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean is affecting the rest of the country.
Hence, the amihan will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
No weather disturbance is expected in the next two to three days, weather specialist Ariel Rojas said.
