MANILA, Philippines — Customers of the Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) will again enjoy lower electricity bills in December due to less use of appliances in November.
Company spokesperson Joe Zaldarriaga said electricity demand in the Luzon grid weakened from the peak demand of 10,344 megawatts in October to 9,886 MW in November.
He said this could continue for the remainder of the year, as power generation costs appeared to be on a downward trajectory.
