2 crime suspects slain in Cavite
SAN PEDRO CITY –– Two men accused of stealing a motorcycle were killed in a shootout with the police in Bacoor City, Cavite on Wednesday morning.
A report from the Calabarzon regional police headquarters said the Bacoor police have not yet identified the suspects slain in the shootout along Molino Boulevard in Barangay Niog 3 around 3 a.m.
According to the police, a resident named Rodolfo Manuel Sarte went to the city police around 1:30 a.m. and reported that two men stole his motorcycle.
The police mounted a dragnet until they tracked the suspects on Molino Boulevard, where the shootout occurred, the report said.
The report did not identify the type of firearms used by the suspects when they fought back.
The police said they were able to recover Sarte’s motorcycle.
