MANILA, Philippines — Despite the directive of the national government banning social events, a group of people visiting a Batangas beach resort appeared to have defied such protocols as they held a party by the beach.
In a video provided by the Department of Tourism (DOT) on Wednesday, it showed a group of people partying by the beach at the Blue Coral Beach Resorts Inc. Barangay Laiya, San Juan, Batangas.
The people who appeared in the video did not have face masks and face shields on and did not practice social distancing.
