Cloudy skies with chance of rains over Metro Manila, most parts of PH
MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with a chance of rains are expected on Wednesday in most parts of the country, including Metro Manila, the state weather bureau said.

In its 5 a.m. live weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the northeast monsoon or amihan has moved farther away, and is affecting weather conditions in Extreme Northern Luzon.
Previously, the state weather bureau said that the amihan is expected to bring light rains over Northern Luzon.
“Patuloy pa rin nakaka-apekto itong northeast monsoon or amihan pero ito ay nakaka-apekto lamang sa dito sa dulong Hilagang Luzon,” weather specialist Shelly Ignacio said.
(The northeast monsoon or amihan continues to affect weather conditions, but this only affects Extreme Northern Luzon.)
With the amihan, residents living in Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands can expect cloudy skies with light rains over their areas.
Meanwhile, Pagasa said the easterlies is expected to bring cloudy scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.
And Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.
