MRT trains now running at 60 kph

The MRT 3 boosted the operating speed of its trains to 60 kilometers per hour (kph) on Monday. The MRT 3 trains can now travel from North Avenue station to Shaw Boulevard station and vice versa at 60 kph, and from Shaw Boulevard station to Taft Avenue station and vice versa at 55 kph.
