“Persons younger or older than the permitted ages may leave home only for buying essentials,” the Quezon City local government said in a statement Sunday.

Children below 18 years old, meanwhile, will be allowed to go out only for essential needs such as medical or dental appointments, and must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian, the local government added.

This comes after the LGU previously announced that those 15 to 65 years old are allowed to go out of their residence, while those below 15 years old are allowed to do so to avail of essential services and accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Previously, the 17 mayors of Metro Manila unanimously decided that people aged 17 years old and below  are not allowed to step out of their residences and visit shopping malls while the general community quarantine (GCQ) is still in effect.
