Fire hits 2 floors of Makati high-rise building
MANILA, Philippines — A fire hit the 28th floor of a high-rise building on Yakal Street in Barangay San Antonio in Makati on Tuesday night, eventually spreading to another floor, according to the Bureau of Fire Protect in the National Capital Region (BFP-NCR).
The first alarm was raised 10:09 p.m., and the fire was declared under control some 30 minutes later. It was put out at 10:56 p.m.
According to the BFP-NCR, there’s an ongoing construction on the 14th floor of the building.
