Cops nab 2 alleged drug pushers in Lucena
LUCENA CITY –– Two suspected drug pushers were arrested here on Monday and Tuesday, police said.
Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, identified suspects in a report as Casey Andal, 24, and Allan Roxas, 31.
Anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed Andal after he sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a plastic sachet to an undercover police officer in a transaction in Barangay 8 around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Four sachets of meth was found in the possession of Andal, who is in the list of drug pushers in the city.
Police operatives collared Roxas in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Ibabang Dupay at 8:35 p.m. on Monday. Authorities seized eight sachets of shabu from Roxas, who was tagged as a rookie in the illegal drugs trade.
The suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
