Zambales logs 12 new COVID-19 cases
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– Twelve more people have tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the province, bringing the total number of cases to 649, the provincial health office said on Sunday.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said four of the new cases were working in a private company in Antipolo, Rizal. They all went home to Iba town on Nov. 23.
Four other new cases are from companies inside the Subic Bay Freeport. These include two call center agents, an office staff member, and a factory worker.
The other patients are residents of Subic town.
The latest data show that only 32 COVID-19 cases remain active, 609 had recovered, while eight had died.
