MANILA, Philippines — An artist from Marikina City is selling her single-edition prints of photographs about the Marikina River in an effort to raise funds for the relief of Filipinos devastated by Typhoon Ulysses.
Titled Turbulent Waters, the exhibit displays photos taken by artist Nathalie Dagmang during her five-year research and engagement in Barangay Tumana, a riverside village and one of the low-lying areas in the city.

The snapshots were first exhibited at Tin-aw Art Gallery in Makati City in September 2019, exactly 10 years after Typhoon Ondoy, one of the strongest storms to hit the locality, wreaked havoc in the region.
Sales of the photographs will proceed to the BALSA for #UlyssesPH, a donation drive that will fund a soup kitchen and relief efforts for the typhoon victims.
