WATCH: PAO reports another suspected Dengvaxia-related death
MANILA, Philippines —The Public Attorneys Office on Thursday reported another Dengvaxia-related death.
In a video by Radyo INQUIRER, PAO forensics team chief Erwin Erfe said a 15-year-old boy was administered three doses of the vaccine from 2016 to 2017 and soon experienced symptoms after the third dose.
Findings by the forensics team showed that the child experienced multi-organ enlargement and bleeding.
“Humingi ng tulong ang mga magulang, mga kaanak sa PAO at sa PAO forensic team para ma-examine ang mga labi ng biktima. Ngayong araw na ito ay nagconduct ng examination ang PAO forensic team,” Erfe said in an interview.
Erfe said the boy, who died on Wednesday, experienced difficulty in breathing.
The mother of the child said the boy tested negative for the coronavirus so he could not have died of COVID-19.
