Tiffany Uy, who holds the highest general weighted average in the history of the University of the Philippines (UP) since World War II, became a trending topic on Twitter in the country after passing the Physician Licensure Exam.

Uy earned a rating of 88.08%, making her one of the exam’s Top 5 passers. After the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the list of passers, Twitter users quickly praised Uy for her achievement.

As the messages of congratulations poured out on the platform, “Tiffany Uy” became one of its trending topics, as of 2 p.m. today, Nov. 26. Many Twitter users jokingly called her a “saint” and asked for her prayers.

“St. Tiffany Uy pray for us and for our [brain cells],” a certain @Stilinski29 said. “Congratulations Doc! Also to all passers and Top 1.”

Meanwhile, one page called @thenursehooman pointed out how she previously graduated as summa cum laude with a degree in BS Biology from UP Diliman in 2015. Along with earning her undergraduate degree, Uy also made history by earning a GWA of 1.004, the highest any UP student has had since World War II.

She then went on to the UP College of Medicine where she graduated this year as magna cum laude and valedictorian of her class.

Meanwhile, other students such as one @sumeows quipped if they could borrow some of Uy’s brain cells for their remaining semesters.

According to the PRC, a total of 3,538 out of 4,704 passed the physical licensure exams given by the Board of Medicine, with Jomel Garcia Lapides, a UP Manila graduate, topping the exam with a rating of 88.67%.  /ra
