Fire hits warehouse of plastics in Lucena

LUCENA CITY –– A two-hour blaze gutted a warehouse of plastic materials here Tuesday morning.

Lucena police reported that a fire of still unknown origin burned a three-storey building owned by a certain Ruben Chua located in Barangay Ibabang Dupay.

The blaze that started around 5:30 a.m. and was put out at 7:55 a.m. destroyed the building that reportedly served as a warehouse for assorted plastic materials.

No one was reportedly hurt or killed in the incident and investigators have yet to determine what caused the fire, report said.
