Market vendor from Eastern Samar wins P20M in PCSO draw

TACLOBAN CITY –– A market vendor from Guiuan town in Eastern Samar is the country’s newest multi-millionaire.

The man, whose identity was withheld, won the jackpot prize of P20.39 million in the 6/42 draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Nov. 21.

His winning number combination was 13, 42, 03, 31, 02, and 22.

He bought his winning ticket at P20.

A source from the PCSO-Tacloban told the Inquirer that the man, who is in his 40s, came to the lotto outlet where he bought his ticket last Sunday to verify his winning ticket.

Reached through her mobile phone, Guiuan Mayor Annaliza Gonzales-Kwan said she hoped that the “very lucky man” would spend his money wisely.

“He is a very lucky man and I hope he will spend his money wisely. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” she said.
