Tally of Filipinos abroad with COVID-19 hits 11,559

MANILA, Philippines – Another Filipino abroad has tested positive for the new coronavirus, bringing the total to 11,559, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Saturday.

These include 7,530 cases in the Middle East and Africa, 1,888 in Asia and the Pacific region, 1,311 in Europe and 830 in the Americas.


Currently, 3,247 patients are still undergoing treatment, it added.
