MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) has recorded 1,968 additional coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases, bringing the current total count of confirmed cases in the country to 418,818.
In its case bulletin issued Sunday, the DOH also recorded additional 10,957 recoveries and 43 deaths.
The total tally of COVID-19 cases in the country is now composed of 24,209 active cases (5.8 percent), 386,486 recoveries (92.3 percent), and 8,123 deaths (1.94 percent).
Of the active cases, 82.5 percent are mild, 8.2 percent are asymptomatic, 5.8 percent are critical, 3.2 percent are severe, and 0.28 percent are moderate.
Meanwhile, 56 percent of 1,900 total intensive care unit beds are still available, and 61 percent of 13,500 isolation beds are unoccupied, according to the DOH.
Another 70 percent of 5,900 ward beds are available, and 80 percent of 2,000 ventilators are still available for use.
