1,337 new COVID-19 cases bring PH total to 413,430
MANILA, Philippines — An additional 1,337 new COVID-19 cases have brought the Philippines’ total to 413,430, the Department of Health (DOH) reported Thursday.
Of the total cases, 30,493 are considered as “active”, where 84.5 percent are mild, eight percent are asymptomatic, 4.7 percent are critical, 2.5 percent are severe and 0.21 percent are moderate.
Davao City was recorded to have the highest number of new cases with 110, then Laguna with 74, Quezon City with 66, Batangas with 54, and Manila with 53.
There were also 286 recoveries and 41 new deaths, bringing the respective totals to 374,939 and 7,998.
Four duplicates, of which three were recoveries, were removed from the total case count, the DOH noted.
Moreover, 10 cases previously tagged as recovered were reclassified as deaths.
