No leaves for BI workers from Dec. 1 to Jan. 15

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has prohibited its employees from going on leave from Dec. 1 to Jan. 15 to ensure sufficient service to travelers during the holiday season. Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said immigration officers detailed as administrative staff would be on call for counter duties should the need arise. —TINA G. SANTOS
