Man arrested for rape of daughter in Bohol town

TAGBILARAN CITY—A man accused of raping his own daughter was arrested by police in his home at the village of Biking in Dauis town, Bohol province on Monday (Nov. 16).

Authorities identified the accused as Ariel Galagar Dael, 40, who was wanted for allegedly raping his teenage daughter in different occasions in 2016 and 2020.

Dael was arrested based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 3 for two counts of rape.

Dael was detained at the Dauis police station as authorities await a court order setting his place of incarceration.
