Task force gets 20 complaints of corruption
MANILA, Philippines — Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra on Monday said the anticorruption task force had so far received 20 complaints, many of which involved allegedly irregular projects of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
“Many involve DPWH-related projects,” Guevarra told the Inquirer. “But not all these pertain to transactions or projects worth at least P1 billion,” he said.
President Rodrigo Duterte had singled out the DPWH as one of the most corrupt state agencies.
