MANILA, Philippines — Better weather conditions are expected inmost parts of the country on Saturday, the state weather bureau said.
In its 5 a.m. live weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the northeast monsoon or “amihan”, as well as the tail-end of cold front, are currently affecting weather conditions in extreme Northern Luzon.
“Asahan naman ang most of the country ay partly cloudy to cloudy skies at bahagi lamang ng Cagayan ay nagkakaroon ng mga pag-ulan, ngayong madaling araw,” weather specialist Benison Estareja said in the live weather update.
(Most parts of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies, and a part of Cagayan is currently experiencing rains since early morning.)
Batanes will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the “amihan” will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
