MANILA, Philippines — Typhoon Ulysses’ wrath had brought back traumatic memories to most Marikina City residents who survived Ondoy’s massive flooding back in 2009.
As much as they wanted to forget the harrowing experience during the time of Ondoy 11 years ago, residents in Marikina could not help but recall, and even compare, Ondoy to Ulysses.
