MANILA, Philippines — La Mesa Dam in Quezon City breached its spilling level of 80.15 meters on Thursday morning, the Manila Water said.
“As of 9:20 AM, the spilling level of 80.15 meters has been breached,” the water concessionaire said in a Twitter post.
“La Mesa Dam [is] currently spilling,” it added.

When the dam overflows, low-lying areas along the Tullahan River may experience flooding, according to Pagasa.
The following areas were identified by Pagasa as high-risk areas:
Quezon City
Fairview
Forrest Hills Subdivision
Quirino Highway
Sta. Quiteria
San Bartolome
Valenzuela
Barangay Ligon
North Expressway
La Huerta Subdivision
Malabon City
Typhoon Ulysses is currently drenching parts of the country with heavy rains.
Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3 is still up over parts of Luzon including Metro Manila.
