Some 200,000 displaced overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who have been waiting for months for government aid can expect to get $200 cash assistance this week. A Department of Labor and Employment official said field offices here and abroad would receive this week the P2-billion funding from the Bayanihan 2 law for the one time cash assistance for OFWs displaced by the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 322,409 OFWs have already received the one-time cash assistance under Bayanihan 1. —Dona Z. Pazzibugan
