MANILA, Philippines — A female Filipino OFW (overseas Filipino worker) in Saudi Arabia was seriously injured after she fell from a building allegedly during an altercation with her supervisor.

Janet Calayag, who works as a cleaner in the Jeddah branch of Saudi Manpower Solutions Co. (SMASCO), survived the fall but sustained critical injuries and is being treated in a hospital, according to the Philippine labor attache’s office.

SMASCO, however, claimed that Calayag jumped off the building. But news reports said Calayag was pushed off the building by an Arab coworker.
