MANILA, Philippines — National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director Police Major Gen. Debold Sinas is a “very good choice” as the next Philippine National Police (PNP) chief,  Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa said on Monday.

Sinas was appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte to succeed retiring Gen. Camilo Cascolan PNP chief

“Very good choice. Nobody is perfect in this world. He has a proven track record,” Dela Rosa, a former PNP chief, told INQUIRER.net when asked if Sinas is a good choice for the position given that he was earlier embroiled in the “mañanita” controversy.
