Aces, Bradford UCCI extend winning runs

THE ATHLETES for Christ in Excellent Service (Aces) and the Bradford UCCI kept their winning runs going as they defeated their respective opponents in the ongoing Fellowship of Christian Athletes Basketball League 2012 at the Living Word Christian Church Center in Banawa and the old Sacred Heart School campus in Mango Avenue.

The Aces of head coach Al Solis got past the Praise Cathedral, 63-50, while the Bradford UCCI defeated the Blessed Hope 2, 56-38, in the 34-below division. Other winners in the same division are the Bible Baptist Church, which crushed the Word International Ministries, 88-33, and the Bradford UCCP, which got past the Blessed Hope 1, 41-37.

In the 35-above class, the Christian Workers Basketball Association edged the Couples Ministry of the Living Word, 94-88, while Living Word bested the Cebu Bethel Temple, 60-51.
