The Cebu International School (CIS) and St. Theresa’s College (STC) A will try to climb out from the cellar as they face each other in today’s lone match of the Girls 17 of the 14th Aboitiz Football Cup at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
CIS is at fourth spot while STC A is at fifth. Both teams have yet to post a win in the tournament.
In the Boys 14, Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) A will try to take over the top spot as it goes up against Blessed John.
DBTC A is currently trailing Mandaue Technical Institute (MTI) at second spot after having won all four of its matches so far.
Blessed John, on the other hand, is at the fourth spot with 3 wins and 2 losses.
Other matches in the category will see Abellana National School (ANS) Pomeroy looking to win its second straight as it goes up against Springdale while CIS faces DBTC B.
Four matches will be on hand in the Boys 12. Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) will go up against Mactan Air Base Elementary School (MABES) at pitch 1 while at pitch 2, Center for International Education (CIE) will play against DBTC 2. Matches between Giuseppe and DBTC 1; and Springdale and Canduman Dedon will immediately follow.
In the Players 10, San Roque Football Club (SRFC) A will face Child Learning Foundation (CLF); MTI takes on CIE 2; SRFC B goes up against DBTC 3; and Canduman tackles Subangdaku Football Club (SFC).
