MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo visited her typhoon-ravaged home province of Camarines Sur Monday and will likewise assess the situation in other parts of the Bicol region pounded by Super Typhoon Rolly.
In a social media post, Robredo said she arrived in the Camarines Sur and will be going around other typhoon-hit areas such as Albay and Catanduanes.
“Left Manila before dawn today. Just arrived CamSur and these were the first signs of devastation we saw,” she said.
“Will be going around Albay and Catanduanes, as well,” the Vice President added.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Vice President (OVP) continued its relief efforts in the Bicol region.
In photos provided by the OVP, Robredo’s staff and members of the Vice President Security Detachment rare shown repacking relief items.
