Pagasa: Thunderstorm warning up in Metro Manila
MANILA, Philippines — Thunderstorms may prevail in Metro Manila within 12 hours, the weather bureau warned on Wednesday.
“Thunderstorm is MORE LIKELY to develop over #NationalCapitalRegion within 12 hours,” Pagasa said in a Twitter post.
“All are advised to continue monitoring for updates,” it added.

Pagasa is currently monitoring a tropical depression located at the east of Central Luzon, which is moving slowly toward west-northwest.
Article continues after this advertisementIt said the weather disturbance could enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility Thursday morning or afternoon.
Article continues after this advertisementIt could intensify into a tropical storm within 24 hours, the weather bureau said.
Pagasa said the tropical depression, which will be named “Rolly” once it enters PAR, is currently not affecting the weather over any portion of the country.
“It will continue to intensify while moving over the Philippine Sea and may reach typhoon category prior to landfall,” the weather bureau said.
