MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has reported 2,057 additional coronavirus disease (COVID-19) infections, bringing the total caseload number to 367,819.
As of 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Department of Health (DOH) said there are a total of 47,773 active cases out of the total number of COVID-19 cases nationwide.
Meanwhile, the virus has killed 19 more infected in the country, raising the total number of fatalities to 6,934.
Total recoveries in the Philippines meanwhile reached 313,112, with 442 newly-reported recoveries.
After validation, the DOH has removed 37 duplicates from its total case count. Of the number, 21 were recoveries.
Also, 12 molecular laboratories did not submit data to the DOH COVID-19 Data Repository System (CDRS) on October 23, the DOH said.
