Some portions of Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in Manila will be closed starting Saturday until Tuesday due to the increasing cases of new coronavirus disease, which has infected mostly the hospital’s doctors and medical workers.

In its announcement, the hospital said the OB emergency room, pediatric emergency room and outpatient department would temporarily cease operations for a general disinfection and refuse admission of new patients.

This would ensure the general safety of patients and hospital staff and workers, the announcement said.
