No more antigen test for Filipinos travelling abroad—IATF

MANILA, Philippines — Filipinos traveling abroad are no longer required to undergo an antigen coronavirus test before their departure.

This is after the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of the Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) lifted the pre-boarding testing requirement for outbound Filipino travelers, according to IATF spokesperson Harry Roque.

The latest task force decision amended IATF Resolution No. 79, which required a negative Antigen test result taken within 24 hours before departure as a pre-boarding requirement.

The government lifted its ban on non-essential outbound travel effective October 21.
