This is what I reflect on as we see the 23rd anniversary of INQUIRER.net. Created during a time when the Internet was just becoming vital to our world, I believe that our platform is going through another shift ahead of the rest.
It’s why we’ve rebranded lifestyle.inquirer.net more than a year ago. Lifestyle isn’t just about reporting on trends, it’s about setting them. It’s keeping with the pulse of our readers regardless of their changes in life. It’s about being there as they make the choices crucial to their every day: whether it’s a fashion purchase or a bigger decision that involves societal matters.
Lifestyle Inquirer stays true to the nature of our mother publication. We report with caliber and evaluate through experience. This is imperative: With everything you could ever want on your feed, how do you filter to get what’s essential?
We couldn’t be more excited to take advantage of the dynamic nature of the website and social media. Lifestyle isn’t just a facet of who we are, after all, it’s the make of our entire personality. Expect a 360-approach that provokes thought and engages conversations.

We also have Around The Web, understanding the global nature of your lifestyles.
We continue to develop various series such as Artists’ Talk, Maker’s Musings, and In A Day where we give you a deep dive into the forces behind today’s latest.
Lifestyle Inquirer is also about synergy. We feature our columnists from the Philippine Daily Inquirer as soon as they hit the press. These include, but are not limited to, Tessa Prieto-Valdes and her colorful insights, and Reggie Aspiras with her expertise in food, cooking, and dining. On top of this are the various core articles from the print Inquirer Lifestyle section, marrying both platforms, making sure there is something for everyone from the art buff to the Kpop stan.
The response since our rebranding has been overwhelming. We have seen a year on year 78.6 percent growth in users from July 2019 to July 2020. Our followers on Instagram (@lifestyle.inquirer) are constantly growing as we post up-to-the-minute content.
Trust me, we are just getting started.
