Bohol town hall shut after worker contracts COVID-19

TAGBILARAN CITY –– The municipal hall of Sagbayan town in Bohol was closed on Wednesday after one of its workers tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

No transactions would be accommodated during the indefinite closure, the local government announced in a post on Facebook page.

Contact tracing was immediately conducted by Sagbayan Mayor Restituto Q. Suarez III.

The municipal hall would be opened once the swab test results of the employees are released.

As of Oct. 15, Bohol has 407 COVID-19 cases, 69 of which are active, 235 recovered, and eight dead.
